This learning object helps the student identify what a prominent theorist determines to be a violent act. The activity centers around the viewing of a first person ‘shooter’ game demo or trailer. The student simply presses a button each time they think a violent act has occurred. At the end of the activity, a score appears showing the actual number according to the definition the student is shown.
The activity was created using Flash and allows the main video to be replaced with any other quicktime or mpeg movie.
